Cumai Restaurante

Cumai’s story is a story of love and passion. Cumai is the acronym for the names of Curro Palomares, María Pérez and Iván, their son. The origin of this innovative project begins when, after many years of working in different hotel chains, big restaurants decide to change their lives. In 2014 they settle in Tenerife and drive to El Aliño, in La Orotava, in the north of Tenerife, where they immediately get a large number of friends. Shortly afterwards they decide to open the first Cumai, also in La Orotava. A small place with six tables, where Curro’s kitchen is refined and Maria’s room has been perfected, especially by expanding its fans.

In 2018, they conclude that Restaurant Cumai must move forward and that they have the opportunity to move their brand to the recently renewed and Modern Atlantic Mirage Suites & Spa hotel located on a beautiful promenade surrounded by spectacular views of the north coast of Tenerife.
